I’m currently rewriting a thriller about two kids and a creep. I find it difficult to get started (too many distractions) and then difficult to stop rewriting. It seems like after I put something down for a while and look at it again, I want to do revisions. This is most annoying when I have already sent the story out and rewriting seems pointless.

Some authors will finish writing for the day mid-sentence, so when they sit back down to write they know where to begin. Getting into the flow state of writing is a habit that we all have to work on. It won’t come easy, but it is worth the effort!
