Maggie Secara loves to explore the heroic ideal, to find the mythic in the every day, and discover the places where the realms of Faerie intersect the mundane in space and time. Secara’s poetry has appeared in a variety of little magazines on- and off-line. The Mermaid Stair continues the Harper Errant fantasy series that started with The Dragon Ring and King’s Raven. Maggie and her very understanding husband live with their cats, hats, and remote control cars in Los Angeles, California.

John Grey is an Australian born poet. Recently published in Paterson Literary Review, Southern California Review and Natural Bridge with work upcoming in The Kerf, Leading Edge and Louisiana Literature.

Patrick Holloway’s poetry and fiction has been published in Poetry Ireland Review, Overland Literary Review, and New Writing Scotland. He has been shortlisted for the Cork Literary Review competition two years running, and for the Highlands and Islands competition. Holloway’s short story, Counting Stairs, was highly commended for the Manchester Fiction Prize. His poem A Ritual was chosen as part of the We are Shelter anthology.
