Tyler Schwanke was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota and is a student in the MFA program at Hamline University. His background is in filmmaking and creative writing. He currently lives in Burnsville, Minnesota with his wife and dog.

Tom Gregg was born in Taunton, Massachusetts, in 1949. After high school he enlisted in the US Air Force, serving from 1968 to 1972, including a year in Vietnam. Since then he has held down a variety of jobs, most recently as an advertising/marketing copywriter. He also returned to military service on a part-time basis, serving for 24 years in the US Army Reserve. Along the way he earned BA and MA degrees in history. Tom retired from the Army Reserve in 1999 and from his final civilian job in 2011. Since then he’s been catching up on my reading and serving as a personal assistant and executive chef for his still-employed wife Jackie. They have two daughters. The older one is a mother of twins and the younger one is a US Army veteran with an Afghanistan deployment to her credit. Tom says that “But I Will Sit With You” has been rattling around in his head since the great blizzard of February 2011 that paralyzed Chicago, where he was living and working at the time.

Carol Nissenson is a professional actor and director. Her short fiction has appeared on Blue Lake Review, The Story Shack and Fiction On the Web UK.

He was born in England and grew up in West Africa and Canada. His family home is in Eastham, Massachusetts (Cape Cod) where he has just returned after 20 years in the Amazon. He was graduated by Bennington College, Vermont, in 1985 with a degree in Latin American Literature. He has had short stories published in TUCUMCAI, SOUTHEASTERN FRONT, CONFRONTATION, SENSATIONS magazines. His first collection of stories, Paris Grays and Other Stories, was self-published in 1991. He has since completed two other collections of stories set in Latin America: The Modigliani Girl and Other Stories, and The Mirror in the Moon and Other Stories.

At present he is looking to publish two short novels for young adults, one set in the Galapagos Islands and the other on Cape Cod: The Captain’s Daughter, and Hurricanes and Blaises.”
