Letter from the editor of FIVE

Hello poets and readers!

FIVE has just finished a whole volume of amazing poets, and I’m excited to start a new and improved volume for the upcoming year. I would like to thank all the submitters and supporters for the magazine. Without your love of poetry, none of this would be possible.

For starters, the magazine will be getting a new cover and layout for easier reading. The new design will be revealed when the first issue of volume two premiers on July 22, so make sure to subscribe or pick up your copy.

In addition, I have made many improvements to the acceptance and editing process for those who are accepted to the magazine. Poets will now be involved in the entire design process to increase publication accuracy. Alongside communication via email and Google Docs, the poet will receive page proofs before the magazine is sent off to ensure that each work is represented correctly.

If you haven’t heard, FIVE is officially on Amazon and NOOK, and issues can be sent directly to your eReader! If you haven’t done so already, subscribe on your favorite eReader to get new poetry from five poets every month.

Lastly, if you have any requests for ideas and events you would like the magazine to be a part of, don’t hesitate to email me with your request.
