I’m Cornelius Fortune, the new managing editor of eScifi.

Well, it seems everyone else is dusting off the old magazine titles for something more customized. While I won’t be doing it this month, I have a few ideas turning in my mind. An official announcement about that will come soon.

In the meantime, I need your best science fiction stories. Give me space opera, alternate history, time travel, all the classics, and especially give me hard to classify work – tales that might not traditionally be thought of as SF.

Remember that science fiction can encompass the past, present, future, and whatever might slip between the cracks. Science (or a science fictional construct) must be central to the story, and you must tell a good story with some character development to being those ideas to life. The reader should feel something, even if your story is about a sentient dishwasher.
