Michael Pacheco is a member of the Editorial Review Board of Label Me Latina Journal. His debut novel, The Guadalupe Saints, was published by Paraguas Books in April 2011 and won Second Place in the 2012 International Latino Book-to-Movie Awards. His novella, Seeking Tierra Santa, received Honorable Mention in the 2013 ILBA for Best Novel in the adventure/drama category and his short story collection, Of Angels, Demons and Chopped Chorizo was published on December 22, 2013. Recently, he was short-listed for the JF Powers Prize in Short Fiction as well as the Southern Pacific Review short story competition. Michael’s fiction has appeared in over twenty-seven literary publications. He has a BA in Political Science and a law degree, but that doesn’t stop him from writing good fiction.
John Vikara was born in New York City and is now retired and living in Pennsylvania. He has self-published a trilogy of novels, The Vandals, Adjuster, and National Defense, and a novella, Auld Lang Syne, as a supplement to complete the series. He has placed third in two short story contests and has had short stories appear in New Realm, eFiction, and Romance Magazine.
Jessica Housand-Weaver is the editor of the new national arts, literary, and technology magazine, Carbon Culture Review and on the editorial staff of the University of Arkansas literary journal, Gravel. She has been published in over a dozen online and print journals. Her short stories have won awards and been included in anthologies. She currently lives in Albuquerque’s East Mountains with her family.
M.B. Dezotell lives in Everett, Washington. Formerly enlisted in the U.S.Coast Guard, he used the GI Bill to attend college, eventually obtaining a BA in English from Western Washington University.
